Chef Gena first discovered her passion for cooking with her mother and father, who owned a small local catering business (Trudy's Deli) in Marietta, Ga. After working as a dental assistant for two years, she decided to follow her passion and enrolled in culinary school at Le Cordon Bleu, where she completed her culinary arts certificate. Chef Gena then started her culinary career at Cherokee Town and Country Club in Atlanta, Ga, where she worked under Chef John Michael Lynch. Her talents and great work ethic were quickly recognized, and she was promoted from prep cook in casual dining to the fine dining restaurant.  She then moved on to Chateau Elan Winery and Resort, then to Atlanta Personal Chef Service. She has previously worked and traveled around the world with Tom Cruise, and prepared meals for Chirs Pratt. In 2021 she acted as sous chef on the Spider Man 3, No Way Home movie set. She is experienced in preparing kosher meals, Vegan dishes, Eat right for your blood type, Paleo, baby food and more! At home, her favorite cuisine to prepare is anything Asian-inspired. She recently found a love for baking pastries and plans to start baking breads. When Gena isn’t working, she is most likely in the gym, learning how to cook something new, or spending time with her family or friends, cooking up dishes for them to enjoy.
